This refund policy does not override the terms and conditions of any insurance policy issued by an insurance carrier. All coverage terms, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the issuing insurance company.

Brokerage & Service Fees

Any brokerage fees, consultation fees, or service fees charged by Shango Financial are non-refundable once services have been rendered. These fees compensate for time spent reviewing coverage options, providing insurance quotes, consultations, and assisting with policy placement.

Insurance Premiums

Insurance premiums are collected on behalf of third-party insurance carriers and are subject to the refund policies of the individual insurance company issuing the policy.

  • Refunds of premiums, if applicable, are determined solely by the insurance carrier

  • Some policies may allow pro-rated refunds, while others may be fully earned and non-refundable

  • Cancellation or administrative fees imposed by the insurance carrier may apply

Policy Cancellations

If you choose to cancel your insurance policy:

  • A written cancellation request may be required

  • Any eligible premium refund will be issued by the insurance carrier, not directly by Shango Financial

  • Processing times and refund amounts vary by carrier and policy type

Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting Shango Financial may delay resolution. We encourage clients to contact us directly so we can assist with carrier communication and clarify refund eligibility.

Errors & Corrections

If a billing error occurs due to Shango Financial (such as duplicate billing for a service fee), we will review the issue and issue a refund where appropriate.
